  1. So fell upon this by a stroke of luck and couldnt resist it. Tis the only one i know of and have ever seen before in nz. REGO IS ON HOLD which just made it that much sweeter. Plans are completely redo all brakes as they are stuffed, give it a thorough check over, wof it and roll for summer. Just took it for a wee doddle with pweston and has a crack up pull out cable lever on the dash like a choke, that makes it neutral when coasting, took a bit to figure out and is quite loltastic. Also has some big electric motor looking thing hanging off the sandwich plate on the box that I can only guess is an electronic overdrive, will investigate further. Specs 1967 three on the tree manual 2300cc 2M of Doom four wheel drum brakes Some pics
  2. the setup that was in my old wagon (spencers MS63) was 3/8 valves with 1/2 inch lines. Previously it was in my coupe and was 3/8 lines n valves. I found 3/8 a bit slow to lift the front when approaching speed bumps especially if I wasnt at full pressure. I would definitely go for bigger lines if you can as it makes it alot less frustrating and you can put bleed taps in to control the speed ie. put a bleed tap on the outlet so you get fast lift in the front and slow drop.
  3. just paid for a double there leeeeeeeeee
  4. i will pay for double on thursday, what are payment details etc??

  9. any more seats for friday mish?
  10. there is a place in auckland that rebuilds them and im pretty sure if you supplied details they could mash some shit together. I got my ms55 ones done there, i sent them through camelot but its another crowd that do it so if you can find out will be cheaper than with camelots charge on top. think ive got it written down somewhere will have a geeze
  11. na mate definitely not a live in type arrangement
  12. agree but sounds like hes trying to do a cheapish build n that would cost a lot more that a turbs etc
  13. turboing the 2jzge is a pretty cost effective power gain too. 1UZ is differant tho, will need turbs or supercharger to be very lively tho
  14. Im looking at getting out of my shed, share with spence its 80 square metres and costs us $80pw, so $40 each. It is located in tamahere. Let me know if your interested.

  18. shit that exhaust really shat itself ay?! mean, why is elite being wankers?? taking ages?
  19. you guna shoot across and grab your gear from mine or want me to just bring it the following weekend mate?
  20. haha good luck finding anything on the net about it. best plan is to just get hold of a 60 series body pan and lay it on top of that chassis then start cutting shit. Ive had a look at doing this before. was planning on doing it to coupe, its def doable but you would want to ditch the factory rear spring towers and maybe put bags in there as they stick up heaps, think ive got a pic of 140 series chassis 60 series chazza 140 series chazza and more 60 series chazza, featuring the infamous sheepers!! check out my build thread there's quite a few more pics of chassis viewtopic.php?f=17&t=10163&hilit=wagon
  21. buy this http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motor ... 011281.htm tax sump, sell engine and part out car, I know a guy that will pay $500 for the chassis. solution = win.
  22. correct. only the crowns had mid sump, hence why they are so rare. Rear sump on the other hand is the most common as alot of the 1jzs that come in from japland have been ripped out of jzz30s
  23. i've got a 2jzge out of a later model crown so has the right sump setup etc that im selling if your keen mate, thats the main hassle with fitting them.
  24. buy my car mate and you'll get a free 2JZ and body with it haha
  25. are you sure? because there is one in the driveway at home that very much has a full chassis. Plus another one we pulled the body off last year If the chassis in your mates shop is crown one they have the chassis number stamped in the front cross-member QFT. got a couple of pics of 140 series crown shazza too FYI. Yea theres a guy in auckland who uses them as bases for ac cobra kit cars, makes a kevlar shell etc, is pretty sweet. Also very popular in the states for hot rod bases
