  1. i used the original accelerator cable from the 1300 when i gt the 1600 dunno if they the same or not :S , what do u mean linakge ??? u mean the part that gos out to the carb?? that should be the socket

  3. where is it ...crankshaft??? if it is then if its in the car put it in first gear , if not take the sump off and jam a piece of WOOD through the crank ... \cheers mongol
  4. i have a weber but its missing the choke thingy so its sitting on my floor at the moment..do they actually make that bigger of a diffrence?
  5. ok too lazy to log out , its mongol , umm the resistor it should look like a white block with a coil under it? , at any rate that should connect up to the ignition switch thats positive , dizzy wire goes to negative , no idea where the other two go tho :S are they actually connected together or are they just by eachother?
  6. i wouldnt be suprised if they shared there designs for things like the steering rack so they could cut down on costs...gm is good at doing that.
  7. extractors, they go pretty cheap. if your brave bore it out yourself with a dremel

  9. just got it, all standard..gonna get some mags and round headlights soon and then the paint and brakes and a new diff and then a new engine.

  13. my escort had so much bog in it i had to use a grinder to get it out, then i just cleaned it up with a wire brush thingy for a drill, i was gonna bog it up but never had the time so i just sprayed it with some primer (which was supposed to be grey and turned out to be a peachy colour) to stop surface rust.
  14. got to 170 in my 1300, took ages through and i was shit scared as the esky was bouncy around the road.
