  1. Tank isn't too bad, one dent in the top/side... pretty small I just can't get to it to bash out. Would love to copper the tank... am currently experimenting. currently satty B + Rust + polished steel and looks pretty fucking bangin' but if someone has a cousin or something that want's to do me a super deal/contra for some advertising on the site i would be well keen... advise! lol
  2. unless I have read this wrong... which is likely... new spokes shouldn't be too hard to come by. just measure them up and get some aftermarket stainless ones. Try some of the UK/US stores or even ebay there are heaps of kits available just have to find some with the right bends, length etc
  3. Gonna just leave the bastard in place. In other news... need new wheels 16"... maybe 17 front will work 36 hole... need some not fucked ones for powdercoating... Ideas? Also anyone know a good tank repair guy in Auckland who isn't a cash rapist? also maybe a good electroplater... I have visions of a bronze tank... hmmm maybe just chrome... maybe I should harden up and prep and polish the steel properly looks pretty good in the bits that are shiny...

  7. no progress as have been working 7am - 9pm shifts at work... gah... oh well... profit Heres the pics of the swingarm attachment gooooose any help appreciated. chur EDIT: wow my phone cam doesn't like close range... the leaves and debris on the garage floor are in smashingly good focus though! lol

  10. 3.43 actually! haha the complicated part was trying to make sure I find all the bits and where they bloody go when I get round to putting it back together... hmmm still havn't figured out how to get the swingarm off... it is irritating me but as yet I have not resorted to the "larger hammer" theory that I normally subscribe to. Ideas regarding the above welcome

  13. Holy crap... new engine turned up... looks like new all pretty and chrome and whatnot... giggling like a schoolgirl lol
  14. wow that does look pretty badass but I couldn't possibly do away with the fantastic fenders and whatnot... let alone the chrome tank haha. Have sourced a 250cc that will bolt in and should still look the part so that will improve somewhat on the performance factor.
  15. yup, I just ended up with the angle grinder gear lever hole relocation after fucking about with L200 gearboxes and the like... a bit ugly but functional. The 63 conversion is a peice of piss... hell even I managed it lol... the project thread for that car probably went in the delete pile though I suspect

Was hell tempted to roll as it is "Rat" Style (cringe at following cool trendzzzzzzzzz haha) but needed to do something to it for some content on the website hence another "cool" trend follow situation... 50's rod stz lol Will tidy up and put it all back together... maybe 12V conversion and pimp around at low speed smokin' the place up a bit woohoo. Worry about new engines later
  17. Repower only in consideration... approx 6hp (9hp stamp is apparently a lie haha) standard could be a little... um... underwhelming haha. There is a 175cc version of the engine which is otherwise identical... including the great fins et al. yup looking forward to satin black and cherry ride to the cafe machine with plumes of 2 Smoke... woohoo Got it off trademe, dude down in Welly... Was way too tempted just to throw a battery and gas in it and leave it as it is... Hence it is now in boxes in the garage waiting to be, stripped (acid/sand etc) then the frame off to the powder coaters and the all the panels prepped for paint... will worry about engine laters.

Ideas... potential (realistic) engine swaps etc... also looking for a spoked 16" front wheel with disc brake setup... especially if I uprate the engine.   24. um... ok? is there a base setting or something... theres like 3 screws on there.. I presume one is idle and the others are mixture.. but buggered if I know which is which haha.. will have a play
