  1. well hopefully this is the last lot of fittings we need. Got the hose clamps for the i/c piping and intake etc as well. Hopefully all plumbed up this weekend and i can think about getting fluids. Has anyone used water wetter? thinking i might give that a try. i just need one bottle huh?
  2. cheers! Big thanks to Nick (jimmy) for his help so far. Got the thermostat just about plumbed up, oil filter relocation plumbed up and a new list of fittings/clamps has been made.. when will it stop? Been thinking about giving up again, ill see how it goes after this weekend

  4. cheers man! starting to lose motivation again, but decided i should do something anyway. Got the main power cable run now and with the help of Brendan i think we have the measurements sorted for the ps and oil lines. Played around with the front lip today as well as i had started to have second thoughts about it. Now i think ill go ahead and use it. looks primo i reckon. more pics of the 3" stainless exhaust hinged drive shaft hoop(x2)

  7. huge thanks to Crazy Ken for his help tonight. Crap weather and idiots on the road didnt make it a fun trip, but i got the beast back home. Must say i feel alot better about the car now. Im not sure if its because its getting closer to completion, or maybe distance does really make the heart grow fonder! Anyway, thanks to Evil_si for his awesome work that he has done. Although now my engine bay isnt so easy to work in. Looking forward to getting this show on the road. poor lighting and shitty phone camera makes it look pink

  12. when simon isnt riding big cannons hes doin awesome work on things like my supra. Went around today to pull the carpet and seats out so they dont catch fire with the welding underneath. Wasnt expecting to see much progress in such a short space of time. Starting to look really good, although the extra pipe work makes the turbo look really small
  13. packed the supra up last night and towed it to Evil_si It had its longest trip in over 4 years 8O Big thanks to Kevin for his help and to Ken for the use of his trailer.
  14. booked in for friday! wicked 3" stainless exhaust downpipe (divorced w/g) w/g port grafted into exhaust housing of turbo (better flow to w/g) i/c mounting oil cooler mounting trans cooler mounting ps cooler mounting intake pipe (afm to turbo) Front facing intake plenum i/c piping Drive shaft hoop No christmas for me! pics soon!
  15. Does anyone know anywhere in auckland that makes custom length throttle cables? Getting a front facing intake plenum made up for my 7mgte and ill need a longer throttle cable and auto kick down cable to suit. cheers

  17. thanks Ryan Yeah the wheels were just rushed on there, still gotta finish the brake conversion, so ill sort them then. hoping to have this ready for the jap meet in jan.
  18. cheers, yeah the turbo is quite enormous compared to the stock one. Im not sure where simon used to live, but he does awesome work.
  19. Had to make a boss for the sump for the oil return. New spark plugs cleaned and painted throttle body ready for reassembly well its been a very productive day, big thanks to Malcolm and Kevin for their help with the engine install. Cant wait till i get to drive it for the first time. Hoping to get quote on the rest of the custom work this week.

  21. bought some more bits and pieces today. sump bolts sway bar mount bolts random everything bolts oil return turbo gaskets Thanks to alltech for the turbo bits and thanks to Stu for some of the bolts. bling'n after procoat action
