how did you rotate the bearings inside the block?Can you reach them from underneith or what? Ive never delt with the balance shafts or anything before and im sure it will be obviose once i get into it, just a heads up before i do it eh

i can see how you get the gain from less rotating mass in the engine, kinda the same as lightening the flywheel i guess, im more doing it for the throttle responce and free reving

that kit is just what im getting except it cheaper than $42 US, and just cutting off the balance chaft is kinda gay as it fucks the bearing in the oil pump, that = not good yo

Ive talked to a number of engine rebuilders/race guys and they all say its a good thing to do but none are to sure how you do it proparly. So yeah, ive found these sites which seems to be the easiest to follow. i did the same conversion with my 4g63, but there was a vacume port on the carb. i remember reading somthing about someone with the same problam and i think they just ended up making there own. I think it would need to be as closs to the base of the carb after the throttle body if you get what i mean......

thats mean. i gotta do somthing with the colts ignition system when i put the 4g63 in. i dont know shit bout it tho.....
