do a vtec conversion, I've heard of a 1200 coupe with a s2000 engine and it just had some fast cams added. turns on everytime and has 250bhp and ultra reliable, would definately be different and would spark some interest

most people I talk to think that they put in too much fuel, because they did come on 3litre capris didnt they? For me, a 38/38dgas would be the biggest downdraft I would get before going to sidedrafts, there was a couple of single sidedraft manifolds for sale on trademe for xflows a while ago which I would go for

all mk1 and mk2 cortinas were leaf sprung, only race cars may have been coil sprung, mk3 cortinas had coils all round then mk4/5 had 90% same chassis but with different body

I think what trd chick was trying to say is why wasn't oldschool there to show up all the other clubs (considering the array of cars that are involved in this site), she was just pointing out that one of the club's - club-k - could easily have been beaten if the people from oldschool got off their lazy asses and put up their own stand (in her opinion - yes you are allowed to have one). As it turns out there wasn't a stand from oldschool thus club-k kicked us in the nads as did every other stand.

i read an article a while ago about putting sierra disks onto a lotus 7 type car. he had 2 sets of calipers on each disk, one hydraulic foot brake and one handbrake. I was talking to a guy who races escorts the other day and he was saying that all his mates were going back to drum rear end because of when they stop racing and pull the handbrake on, the brake melts the disk to the pads due to the heat
