Usually rotarys may run twin 2" from the exhaust ports and then into one before the diff and out the back. If thats what you were thinking of.
  10. Thanks WDE_BDY but it seems I didn't proof read that very well lol. I think i was trying to say was 'it has been happening for a while now'. When the enigine is running you really have to wrestle it into gear and it is dam near impossible sometimes. Oh and when enigine is off you are able to get it into gear relativley easy.
  11. Ok fullas, heres the deal. My mates got a 78 BMW 318 I think. 4 banger. It has had a problem of not being able to easily getting into gear while running so he changed the slave for the clutch. The problem is not fixed so we get a box/clutch/presureplate/thrust bearing from a wrecked one and got it in there in the weekend. Problem still occurs. Does anyone know what could be the problem could be? It seems like the clutch just isn't disengageing. Cheers boys. /edited

    KE70 corolla

Same happened to mates Mini. No matter how much we push started it it just wouldn't go. Turned out to be a naffed coil. So check that as even though it may have spark it could be irregular and/or too weak. Tryed engine start? Try pushing it faster too...or pull it...

    sand blasting

What are you? 50 Cent?? My mate got his Mini dipstripped for around $800. That is a mini though. And everything has to be gone. Afterwards it is dipped in a rust inhibitor so you have to wash it down before you paint. Probably just go with the blasting.

  21. considering they have the same floorpan/monocoque shell i dont see why not. how ever the early mk1s had a differnt rear shock angle (45degree i think) as the later ones but i think the axle should be the same. anyone correct me if im wrong.
  22. i heard they had type48 shells which was 49 but with less streanthening, ie arount the stut tops. there was a discussion on trademe ages ago and i remember cos i was real interested if the shell was a 49. but yea, anyone else? sorry a tad off topic.
  23. imo the new hilux diffs are the way to go. a solid lsd and something around the price range of $1400 shortened and purchased?? it will need to be shortened, and you can have the track a little smaller if you have larger width wheels at the back, as long as it doesnt hit the tub or the leafs. which is mad score.
  24. sakt on wires, none of this crasy bozuku styles. *waits*
