    Twin pipes

Do it, I am dying to see what it will look like, and if people call it gay then you can sell one of your cannons to cover the cost of changing back to a single pipe
  4. Loving the no bumper and the 2 doorness and the bugeyes When is it expected to be back on the road?

    escort windows

Thats all I can find, I thought I had posted up how to do it after I replaced my rear quarter window, but can't find it. The owners manual kinda covers it, its just a matter of having enough hands to help out, and make sure you tape everything so that you don't scratch your new paint

  10. Where do I get them? Repco/Supercheap??? Hardware stores?
  11. Had an exhaust leak, looking for it, noticed I'm missing a ex.manifold bolt, look closely, the bolt has snapped off inside the head, I can see about 1mm of thread... if that. Is there any way of removing it??? I was thinking I could drill a hole in it and then get a thread extractor (is that what they are called?) in there. Is this the way to go about it? Cheers

    Carbs

I've heard that a 28/36 is a better carb than the more common 32/36's even though it is smaller, not sure of the reason for this. Thats what I'm running on my 1600, goes well

wid = with da = the u = you y = why Even if you can't use google you could still use a dictionary, and if thats too hard then at least throw a fullstp in between your sentences, its near impossible to understand what your saying man. And yes, go with the pinto
  18. Nope, where abouts is the kink?
  19. Wheels could be worse though, they certainly look better in the most recent photo's with the side skirts and the low.

    FORD 1600

A pre-cross flow has both the intake manifold and the exhaust manifold coming out of the same side of the head. A cross flow has the intake ports on one side and the exhaust ones on the opposite side, so they are quite easy to tell apart. I'd also look at the option of putting a 2L pinto in, they are the sohc 2l that come in lots of cortinas and the higher spec escorts, it would be a bit more work to put in but probably worth it,. But if you want a simple swap then yes a 1600 cross flow will be piece of cake, and 711M is the number cast onto the side of the 1600 block's I think.
