  2. thanks man, too bad its not really helping already had a certifier come around and now im doing mock ups which then need to get approved before they are actually made by an engineer. I dont have the facility to tap threads etc but i do have a pipe bender and a cheap supply of pipe. what i want to do is weld some nuts on the ends and screw in the tie rods. and need a tie rod i can find a nut for. ta
  3. original uses a centre drag link, im trying to make a new/different setup
  4. Does anyone have access to tie rod sizes and measurements? I need to find something that fits any help would be fantastic. I need a taper to fit Lada Niva pitman arms, that being around 15.2mm wide/15mm narrow, so around that size. Also the other end needs to be a male thread with a reasonably common size and thread which I can find a nut for easily. (So far I have hilux LM55 items, part number is camelot RN540L i think, taper is perfect but the thread on the body is really shit, m17 1x5 lefthand thread. I also have som 60s holden ones which are close but not as tight a fit in the taper and the body is a chunky M18 thread.) many thanks
  5. i would suggest first and foremost looking at your steering before you start any swap with the exception of a fiat one or something that would stay in a similar spot and use your current driveline. re. the radiator im looking at fitting a custom one into the grill cavity
  6. this is an amazing little esky man, love it
  7. haha thats funny. they get a horrible rep but hey its was designed and made as a low-cost budget-as subcompact, so you get what you paid for PM me more about them rims if you're keen to sell btw looking into slam now and will def be looking at a transplant once lada is done. Looks like there is a huge range of fiat sohc engines which bolt straight in, as well as Bravo/Brava 16v which need one mount modded only. sux we are so far away, Serbia has a huge range of 15s and 16s for these for around 130 euro a set. Also a FULL SET of Bilsteins w springs and lowered leaves @ 220 euro. fuck
  8. had a bit of a clean and a service looking for rims, bit of a lol finding 4x98 also looking at importing suspension bits
  9. wicked plan for this little thing man. hey if youve got a CAS/coils setup on it (to fit 1800, unsure if 1600s are the same?) you want to sell off, let me know, cheers
