How many spokes? That may work.

Standard 36 spoke wheel. They're a bit shit, but that's what this event is all about!

I'd try around for some 17's first, but feel free to use me as a last resort. I do know that the brake shoes are the same between the C50's and CB100's. So I'm assuming the hubs will work with those hub plates and axles?

  2. Honestly, I'd go TF125. Keep an eye out on FB marketplace for the early 80's ones cause they used to be road registered sometimes.

Get in there fast and you can pick one up for $500 with dead rego. Parts are easy to get cause it's a mudbug! Want to go faster? Slap in a TS125 motor.

been reading up on ts125, tc125 and ts185 bikes, I want to buy one but there are none around auckland I can look at IRL. I see that they are all a similar size and weight in the stats (and only slightly bigger than a CT), but does anyone have real world experience with them? Are they a big feeling bike, or not, and maybe how they compare to something like a CT90/110. Anything I should know/general review. Would you go for a 185 over a 125, or are they very similar, does the 185 feel way bigger?

TS185ER's are epic bikes. Solid motors and frames, but shit clutch cable routing and nasty plastics. All parts incl gasket sets and rod kits are standardly available in NZ from your Suzuki local. Only brake cable will need to be ebay sourced.

Good luck finding a road legal one for a reasonable price though.

Compared to a CT, they have a powerband that could take you by surprise. Way more go than a CT though. An extra more vicious 9hp or so. Nothing like water-cooled modern 2 strokes though.
