With cvt issues...
meh, if it’s the same as the slipping cvt we had on that 4 door we sold, it’ll have plenty of life left. Just gotta shift real fast past N and chuck it into sports mode for slowing down and taking off. Hmm. Maybe I should buy it.

I’m out of the club now for the foreseeable future. Just wasted all my munny on a beat up Teyoda Aqua. I’ll see myself out.
Guess we'll be seeing you back real soon then, so many aquas been stolen lately.

Milly followed me home a few weeks back, she's resuming service as a MTB shuttle vehicle while I attempt to drag the door handles at every opportunity. My boys think she's wonderful. I've been day dreaming about slamming her on period correct wheels. But small 4x100 wheels seem to have been afflicted by the same tax as everything else car related...
What fitkit do you have? 754 feet?

Also it’s only one of two k11s registered in nz

Workmate’s husband was looking for a commuter car, found a “late model, low km, mondeo manual for cheap” bought it for 12k, I told her not to buy it but “it was a good deal” Anyway.. I drove it once, it handled like wearing skate shoes on a steep, muddy walking track. One day it blew the engine and after much anguish they decided to spend 4k fixing it.. not long after that it had another major engine failure. They scrapped it and while looking for a replacement they found a dereg early 2000s audi wagon “it was a good deal” I said don’t do it.. they had to ask 5 other people who all said don’t do it before they decided not to go for it. They bought a leaf in the end and have had smooth, reliable driving ever since.

Did we win the thread?
PFL2DMBB
Slips right into the carport, hardly even notice it's there.
Did a factory dent delete on that guard, (yet to be painted) but don't worry, still many factory dents left.. Still needs a bit of tidying up such as fuel flap put back on and wheels swapped out to the 5/4s etc but not much.

diesel? sold mine just before lock down..... would just completely shut off and die randomly was a rank angle sensor... really liked that car but the seals on the back doors and windows started leaking badly and the sills were starting to rust so I did what I could and sold..
Yeah 2012, the egr was shutting off so they replaced that and now the injector warning light has come on and it's gone into limp mode

Can you Honda lego some more power out of it?
Yeah, I think once it's not our sole tow vehicle we will probs do something fun with it. Don't want to tinker with the only reliable car we have though.

Suzuki Grand Vitara. Really nice aside from the gremlins so hoping they can sort it.

Update-less picture..
So this thing isn’t really meeting our towing needs (who would have thought).. having to go into second or first gear to get up hills when we’re towing a light trailer with motorbikes and tent on the roof was getting really tedious so we decided we would upgrade.. ended up buying a relatively modern, capable manual diesel which has proven itself to be nothing but unreliable.. have owned it since oct and only had 3 weeks at most use out of it (fortunately it was bought from a dealer so we aren’t forking out to get it fixed at least)Just got the new car back last night from the mechanic.. updated the RUCs and Reg, filled it up with diesel ready for our camping trip this weekend and then on my drive home.. limp mode! Blargh!
Good thing we’ve still got the trusty ol’ HRV to rely on.
So as it sits, nothing much cosmetic has changed on the honda since the last update.. we do have the paint but it’s yet to be painted. We just ended up matching the yellow because we thought with getting a new car, we’d just flick the honda off.. looks like we’re never selling though, it’s just too damn reliable and owes us nothing.

This fellow is looking to swap his Micra. Might be keen on your Daihatsu?

Big block AUS import UK assembled.
I should offer him a FL4DBB with slipping cvt. Plus cash my way obviously for the extra doors.

Our local sparky saw our 2dpflmbb on the lawn and text asking if he could buy it to use in a derby/paddock bashing event. Uncultured swine.
