if theres no one way valve the fuel can run back to the tank.. had a workmate who had a lada do that every time he used it,he had to crank it for ages before it got fuel to the pump.. do you have a compressor??? take the fuel line off the carb side of the fuel pump put your hand over the fuel fill hole thinngy and blow some air in there seen it done before,it pushes the fuel through...you shouldnt cause any leaks cos your hand wont make a good enough seal to do that

ok so my battery light came on the other night and the car died a while later...its a ss v8..vs model. put a multi meter on it today,battery is fine. its charging but only at 12. something volts,and it slowly climbs to that,its not bang straight away.. what would be the deal with this thing? im not too clued up on alts.. the voltage is fairly steady even when i turn all lights,heater fan,a/c etc on..

if you head over to the west cost we have a spare bed,floor,lawn,haybarn,culvert.... the cost roads are friggin epic to drive on,

its in the surf...the loom would need to be replaced right throughout then..pretty sure it doesnt have a plug in the back,the plugs in the door are there,but the one on the loom itself arent...

well at the moment it has speaker cable (why oh why?? some people) run through to the reg motor from the battery, to wind it up and down you need to put them on the battery then swap it round to wind it back up etc... this is for the back door.. would be nice to have a switch on the dash..the original switch is the back door lock... but some knob has hacked every thing up in there...
