Very good work on this, I would be very proud of it.

Got the spoiler on. Also got my LSD. Engine is coming out next weekend so should have some updates that actually relate to the swap then.

Intake and valve cover ready. Also finished sanding the spoiler but didn't get any photos. Will get some later when I do paint. Swap should be starting in 2 weeks, as soon as my last few bits arrive.

I hear the chassis is bent. Who'd want this thing? Just kidding. Now give me the keys.

Got some updates. Engine and box is out of the E34: Some other cool stuff that I got: Parcel shelf to match my seats with premium speaker covers: Painted black and installed: Also got an Mtech replica spoiler but it arrived damaged so got a partial refund and went about starting the repair today: Also made my engine mount bracket adapters today: I used 12mm steel, might be overkill a little but when I'm dragging off Evos and Skylines the last thing I want to be worrying about is the engine falling out under the car, haha. Also got hit about a month ago by a guy who suddenly changed lanes without looking: Luckily he has insurance so working with them now to sort it. I was pissed off but he's been good about it and not screwing me around so I appreciate that. More updates to come soon. Then some sideways.

I've been going to the last 3 Drag Wars with the mk2. After running consistent 15s and just not being able to get into 14s (even setting a 15.078), on Friday I managed to set several 14 second runs including a 14.590 with a little weight reduction. Some photos from the pervious events thanks to RL Photography: My favourite one: I will post photos of this Friday when they get uploaded. The car ran excellently with no running issues what so ever. Only issue I had was occasionally the electronic throttle pedal cutting out, but I think I solved that since it didn't happen this round. And with that, I think it's time to part ways with this car. I want to move on to something new and have big plans for my e28 and possibly another car so I will be tidying up some things on this car and then I will put it up for sale. It has been great and served me very well. Whoever buys this will be getting a very good car. And I'm not just saying that because I built it, I am genuinely impressed with how reliable it's been.

I hate to see sh*t like this. Sorry man. I don't think it would need a full respray but it will need to be blended into surrounding panels such as door and trunk lid. Edit: Just saw post above. All the best getting it sorted.

Wetsand and first cut done on Thursday. I'm going to leave it for a couple more days and then do another cut.

Final spray done today. The clear didn't come out as good as I would have liked, I've got a feeling there's some solvent pop which will show when I wetsand, hopefully not. Otherwise I'm pretty happy with it. Wetsanding and cutting to come, hoping for it to look like glass in the end.

I'll be there even if it's raining as it is now.

Finally made some progress. Sprayed the base color today. It's just gloss black but I've got something special that will be going over it.

If you can get liquid extractor and water blast them it will make them like new. I have done this personally and it works really well.

Had a good time though I was only there for a couple hours this morning. Looks like I missed the real action. Also got lost when I first came in and drove all the way around as no one could tell me where Oldschool was because no one had heard of it. Hahaha. Thanks Neal for the directions, shame that I missed you (as in I left before you came). Will be aiming to be there on the Saturday next year.

Not much of an update, but ready for Hot Rod Festival tomorrow: P.S. I wish the car looked this good in real life.

I'm planning to be there tomorrow. So how does it work getting in? Do I park outside and walk in or can I drive in with my E28? I haven't been before so not sure how it works.

Firstly I'll begin by saying I don't actually really play guitar. I've always had a great love for music and wanted to learn an instrument, and I did start playing guitar for a short while and also did piano for a brief period but never carried it on for some reason. One of the reasons may be that I never really had my own instrument to play. So recently I decided it was time I learn so I spoke to my friend who has been playing for years and he kindly donated this to me. I'm not sure on what the model is but I remember him saying it was a Yamaha and actually quite a decent one. Please excuse the rubbish photos. When he told me it was in pieces and needed to be put back together, being as I am I was quite happy about that and knew exactly what I was going to do. So the plan is now to repaint the body of it. I already have the color scheme in mind but I will keep that a secret for now. Someone has already started sanding the finish as can be seen here: I'm planning today to finish the sanding and spray the primer on so should have an update this evening. Hopefully this is of interest to some of you.

Trust me it's not. I might take some close up photos when I get a chance but it really is rough. Today I found some major rust at the jacking points, there is a hole on one side. Made me feel a bit better, haha.
