how long should a motorcycle front brake take to bleed? been at it for hours, gone through prolly 3 cylinders worth of fluid with no improvement in pressure. clean, air free fluid coming out the bleeder each time. spent a good hour last night, then another 30 odd mins this morning with no improvement. doing the old hows ya father hold lever in, crack bleeder, lever goes all the way to throttle, tighten bleeder and release the brakes. making no difference after hours of bleeding. is there a better technique to it? i feel like there's an air leak somewhere in the brakes, but cant identify anything unusual. your 2 cents please

sweet pics! the gentle annie is a lush drive. it only gets a million times better from that bridge! would have easily helped yourself to some roadside snow along the way. would love to do it in a car like yours, a golf or fxgt etc, hi-roofed hiace vans make for quite the body roll on some of those corners -
Hey team, thought that a good ol' meet up and cruise to a country pub would surely get the presence of old school going in the heart of the south! After a few recommendations, we will be cruising to Chatto Creek Tavern, halfway between Omakau and Alexandra. good old fashioned country tavern with cold beers on tap and good food in the kitchen. Alex will be a good meet up point for people coming from Southland and across from Dunedin, so we will meet at the old bridge from 12:30 and convoy to Chatto Creek from there at 1:00pm. park up spot on Rivers Street below: Will definitely be a good time, bring an old(ish) car, and a good sharn for a grouse Central Otago afternoon. if some are willing we could cruise further along on the rail trail and back in to alex. Or if any locals care to share some good roads I'm all ears. Open for suggestions in this thread, if the time's an issue or anything like that. if you're keen to tag along express interest below so i can confirm numbers for the lovely lady at the Tavern. Hopefully we can make this a monthly thing! Enjoy!
