  3. You got some perfect roads by your house for some shake down runs as well. Keen to do a West pest out your way one day. Really nice roads.
  4. Making some good progress man. Can't wait to see this thing hoon.
  5. Put a drill with a square drive in the back of it and chucked it in reverse. Speedo is perfect at all angles.
  6. Yea we even added all of the grease. Turns out you googled it and looks like my worm gear is fucked. New one on the way.
  7. @flyingbrick just said hes going to come now that he has a new bike goes fucken hunnits
  8. Yup done it a 2nd time. Wobbling around like no tomorrow still. Will take it to work tomorrow and see what I can do with it in day light hours with my neighbours there.
  9. Speedo cable in. Now speedo jumps around like no tomorrow.
  10. i now have a spare clutch and two gear cables for the vespa, these will live in it while i ride around the country side with it. also got a new speedo cable with a new worm drive that will hopefully correct my speedo for me. off home i go to install the speedo and get this bad boy rolling again. EDIT: all thanks to Christiaan at retro scooter for these over night parts from japan (Auckland) PS support your local scooter lord NZ Scootercare he is still the man!!!!
  11. Erm found out why my speedo stopped working. It seems to have snapped in the kink down by the wheel which wasn't so helpful. But hopefully have a new gear set for it and a new cable this week. The hole fuel pissing down the back wheel I'll have a closer look and see where its leaking from in the light. It's coming from some where in the carb set up. Enough to make a little Leake but not enough for it to piss everywhere like my needle is stuck open. Or is it.....
  12. Man. That is sweet. Wonder what It will go like with the added weight to it now. Be sweet for pulling rad wheelies.
  13. Picking up all the dirt on my casing and road grime as the fuel drips down the back of my engine, and then goes over my tyre gets more road grime. Ends up yuck. Stinks of fuel. Just put fresh stuff in the night before. Be interesting to see what it's done when I get back to work tomorrow.
  14. just need to turn my bloody tap off. really want a center stand to make my life easier.
  15. Oh cheers vespa. Didn't want you to hold fuel anyway bloody useless thing.
  16. Just use lude. And safe sex is good sex. You can live a completely normal life with HIV now. So it all go. @cletus are you packing a small pump. Not a penis one. One to inflate a air mattress. Last year I blew one up a rouge air mattress with my mouth after the exhaust melted it. Wife wasn't overly happy with kissing me from there on in.
  17. i had said id like to stay @johnnyfive but im going to pass on that as im staying with @Zeubin at ohope and i think @Kass is going to stay with us there to give him a head start the next morning. SO MUCH EXCITEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its all that gets talked about at work.
  18. yea the hole different size bikes and different confidence riders will spreed it out pretty easy pretty fast. ill probably hang with the bunch of mates im staying with instead of loosing them and then having to find them again. going to be pretty fucken rad. still need to purchase and air bed for the rere rock slide
  19. so i think next on the list of things to do was modify a rack and bolt that to the bike for extra gasoline. cut here add here bobs your uncle bottom two are riv nuts and the top one is welded in. This rack was of a 100 suzuki that i bent into shape and then cut the front off and welded my front tap to. jerry can fits perfect, bit since riding it a fair amount ive decided that its not going to go there and ill relocated it to another place, this weeks job hopefully. the other day i had my main hub nut come off on me pretty much the hole way which i wasnt overly happy about. had a really weird feeling going on just didnt feel nice at all. quick fix and away again for a bit. while parts from auckland arrived so while i done that i thought id do a few other things to it. oh and my side panel had shit set up and it feel off last time i went to raglan so i removed that and put riv nuts in place and put new bolts with a bunch of lock tight on them so it worn be falling off, but to do that i had to remove my tank. while the tank was out i did this. what on earth is this thing on top. and i couldnt get it off so an easy fix. put that bad boy back in and man my headlight now touches the ground!!!! its bloody amazing. done a bunch of riding in the dark and a hell of alot of kms, clocked up over 200kms in the weekend of bathurst. My speedo stopped working as well so i use google to track my kms since then i have been clocking up the kms and making sure its going well. but have been sick of not having a mirror so that was next on the list of things to do. had a bit of flat bar at work so i drilled a couple of holes and cleaned the edges up a bit, while welding a nut on the front for it. these holes are factory mounted holes for a mirror which was bloody handy. its a bit short but im not faised at all lest i now have one, i do have to look through my armpit though. went for a shack down ride with @mark105 and @Truenotch and done 130 kms on it, fuel tap getting turned on at 90km mark and running out going down my drive way on the way to work on sunday at 130kms stopped off at the tooth brush fence cause well if its not on the internet its not real then the raglan pub. then when 105 broke down, at this stage markku also had no kick start so i was push starting him on my vespa with one leg out. and we made it back to mine just in time to get our drank on for my house warming. also here are some other random photos of scooter stuff. the view from home doing drop offs at the post shop. how low can you go, well low enough to scrape the kick start. also here is my last ride on the gyro.
  20. @MopedNZ is that you rolling down a hill? Man that is so good @GuyWithAviators your at the same stage as @Truenotch and @Geophys dad's bike. Just there bikes have the same strokes between the two of them as yours.
  21. No new engine in it yet Andrew. Is that one still holding together well? Off for a 100k ride with @mark105 and maybe @Beaver if his bike is tuned.
  22. Take it passed vg? Have you got much to do on yours chris other than waiting on parts? @MopedNZ and @Shakotom you guys got your bikes in less peaces and close to riding?
