  1. Those wheels look super sweet! I am surprised they fir in the guards
  2. Discuttion/abuse for //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/46957-chris-70-cst10/ tell me why its a not a bad idea to get a truck that barely fits in a garage
  3. Though I should start a thread for my truck. I have (had?) Been pining for a long bed c10 for ages. Late last year I sold my commodore ute and this came up at the right price so I couldn't say no. Its a 1970 CST 10. Pretty rough body wise but bugger all rust and makes the right noise. I have done (some of) the exhaust as it just had a reso off the extractors and replaced the rear shocks as the old ones were mangled. Just need to fix the many oil leaks, washers, replace wheel studs and mount a high stop and then I can take it in and see what it fails compliance on Plenty of room in the bay Here are some trademe photos because I suck at taking them Discuss : //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/46958-chris-1970-cst10/
  4. Feel free to hurl abuse/tips/laugh at us. Any very cheap/free stuff which might be useful would be appreciated //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/43828-roskill-rovers-rangi-starlet/
  5. This probably should belong in the fabrication fail thread. This is my rover crew (adult scouts) grassskhana car. Every time we take it out we manage to break something on it, Usually the diff. After doing a half day engine and gearbox swap the week before the event and breaking another diff and engine I kept a eye out for something a bit stronger and within our budget. DavidTheCreator had a trike rear end which was the right price so along I went and collected it. We have machined the subaru flange so the starlet shaft will bolt on and this weekend we will somehow rangi the subframe into the kp. 6. Yeah found that thanks but was confused/didn't read it properly.
  7. Is there a minimum height for high stop lights? Could I get away with putting one on the tailgate of a ute like the new hiluxs?
  8. Coolent temp sensor was ok, Was soaking all the plugs. pulled all the injector plugs and it eventually cleared (plugs dry). it wasnt running before I saw it. Spark looked healthy enough which means coils should be wired correctly.
  9. Does weltec do the apprentice courses or is it MITO or similar? I did my pre trade (auto sparky) through unitec and there was a apprentice office type thign where you drop off your CV, Thats how I got mine
  10. Sounds like it could be water temp sensor
