The Fxr motor is way wider than the Honda and the sprocket is nowhere close to lining up. Its sitting relativity centered in the frame so I don't want to try and move it over as I know I won't be able to get it square One option is to go for a wiiide Swingarm and wheel but that costs money. Why spend money when you can cut up a perfectly good motorbike. I chopped out the middle of the tube in the swing arm pivot so I could slide it up the frame. Looks like it'll work but this is the part I need a hand to get things centered and I square/a second opinion

I did some work on the C50 today and it got too hard to figure out. I'll need a adult or someone with skills to give me ideas. I thought I'd strip the 139qma motors that @Raizer gave me both had been sitting and had water down them. Head and barrel off. New barrel ready to go on and fitted I ordered a 'racing' cam off Ali but when I measured it it had the same lift as the stock one. Must mean I got a racing motor right? I stripped both heads down. The g clamp worked well as a valve spring compressor The non egr head has much bigger ports so that's what I'll be using. I gave it a quick clean up and lapped the valves in. I'll give it a quick once over with the die grinder tomorrow to clean up the ports. I could splash out another 30 on a 'big valve' Ali head but that'll triple my investment

The crx was getting a bit fumy when driving it. I figured it'd be the exhaust tip being tucked in too much and remembered I had ordered a tip off ebay a while ago so welded it on. It has helped with the smells a bit I also figured out one cause of the water leaks, the sunroof is chooched it is beyond my skillset to fix so I've done some googling and found this http://www.fiberworxonline.com/Honda-CRX-(88-91)/CRX-Fibreglass-FX-Sunroof-Bung hopefully shipping wont be too bad. I found lots of replacement panels but the pan is rusty and all the actuators are rusty and broken. A bonus with the plug is there will actually be room for a helmet

I've thrown some money at @Raizerto hopefully make my punishingly small twist n go reliable. Currently on a 2 week cam trip withu bro and just had the first shower after a week so I'm ready -
Garage is tidy now. Tucked them in for while I'm away. There is two nifties a fxr150 and the cub in that pile. Oh and a couple of gy6 I've dropped the melody motor off to @Shakotomfor @Raizer@Raizer to collect and rebuild. I'll check book racer it so I hopefully have a motor ready when I get back. Since I haven't touched it it should last more than 80 km this time

I'll just leave everything to the last minute and figure it out the week before. Got three bikes to build so one should be ready ish. All will be a bit shit -
Don't ride it near @RUNAMUCK they are attracted to him. Atleast of you crash it won't loose any value

Sounds like 11trips are coming up -
So what do you do when you are heading away on holiday in a month and have lots of un finished projects? Make a weak attempt to sell parts? check. noone bought said parts so its time to get a frame to fit said parts into. enter cub frame which @Raizer extended and added some rake, And my fxr150 motor Motor looked really close to fitting, this spacer needed trimming trimmed a bit off the corners to clear the breather and a bolt Fucking bolt in mayte as you can see in that last photo the sprockets are a fair way off lining up. One idea I had was to try and move the motor sprocket inboard a bit but that'll probably end up interfering with stuff. So I'll just have to get or make a wider swing arm. Has anyone got a spare c50/c90 swing arm I can butcher

If a ride after September I am happy to do support vehicle if needed/wanted -
I can do it for 26 but have to pay for the courier so its not worth it

It bends to shapes quite well, I got a cheap hard roller to smooth it out and it followed the curves nicely. If anyone wants some Jay car stuff I should be able to get it cheaper. Will price it up this afternoon

I've still got this, went down to the lockup today and grabbed it. Drip of fuel down the carb and it fired right up. It's being filmed again tomorrow for something. Now it's out I'll get it a wof then do ute stuff and put it back in the lockup for another few months(year)

I added another gay Honda to the collection (temporary) today. I wasted no time in putting the factory shocks back in so I could nab the konis for the crx. The teg is reg on hold but has a bit of A pillar rust and a rust hole by the rear window. I'm hoping some other sicko buys it as is or I'll part it out when I get back. Its got aftermarket cams exhaust and prelude brakes. Got a few goodies for the crx and shuttle too, spoon baffled sump, spare cv shafts and starter. Koni damper adjustable shocks and a set of hawk pads for the big brakes on the shuttle Oh and a b20 with spare type r head. I got lucky and the b20 has the higher compression pistons - it should be about 10.4:1 with the vtec head. I'll slowly get parts and build the 2 litre up for the crx as the b18 is getting smokey

Took the crx for a longer drive and the exhaust volume is great but the rasp is too annoying to deal with. I just checked and I was a dumb arse and ordered the wrong resonator from adrenalinr. I have ordered the right one this time and I'm thinking about replacing the rear muffler with it as it's easier to access. I also need to extend the tip a bit as it's a bit fumey inside the car now

I was just about to say that. You've got a spare 3.8 m8 so chuck that in for max moo diff blowing power

I looped the heater on the crx and filled the tank. I took it for a doort out to piha and everything went well. I need some brave pills and lots more seat time to get better. No scrapes on most things now which is good and no annoying drone at 80-100 which is even better. Its still pretty raspy but it is a Honda... The old headers used to hit that lip of concrete going into the garage and the new ones aren't anywhere near Oh @mjrstar the iat (the few times I checked) stayed around 30 degrees and after sitting for a bit crept up to mid 40s
