So I’m guessing these VW extended trail front trailing arms are no a go for cert if the trailing arms are made of cast materials? lengthered to increase caster, centralise wheels in guard and supposedly reduce bump steer/ dead spots in steering on super lowered and narrowed beetles

Just need to add about 12 degrees of camber to the rear wheels for true VW ness and narrow that front end

Hey So im looking at buying a moped that’s located in stratford for a Xmas present for someome is there anyone local that might be able to pickup and store for me for a little while till I figure out how to get it closer to me havent purchased yet just trying to figure out logistics before throwing an offer at it love Shakotom also willing to provide reimbursement for your time ect if wanted

Spot the ST Bike was probably about 3m down the almost vertical cliff, stuck in a tree still running. I carried on and ended up in the darkness probably 10 or 15m down the bank stopped by a tree and some rocks after going through the air and tumbling through a fair bit of Bush/trees. rookie move. Think I’m gonna sew some back armour into my vest now

That was wicked. 11/10 would trade again. thanks @johnnyfive for all your hard work with planning and coming up with an amazing adventure! thanks to the ladies for driving the support car! thanks to @64vauxhall for being my Knight in a damp poncho, and all of the dudes who dragged my bike back up the cliff! and the rest of you for just being fucking rad.

Question from a guy on the fb event Couple of questions, is extra fuel essential? Food/drink/booze available in a shop on the first night or shall we bring some? Just checking a 50 is still ok or I'll bring a 125? Sleeping outside under a tarp should be sweet yeah if the bach is too packed, or would a small tent be better? If I bring a spare bike, would it be safe to leave it in the van at the meeting point? Starting point is 7.00, but where exactly as I have to route plan! Cheers, excited to get out there!
