Next job was to split the roof and tilt the bottom part of the window to the same degree of the top part of the door.

i just took small nicks out of the top of the swage line then clamped it and and bent it in to suit.

Then welded the nicks up and hand filed the welds down.

Next job is to cut this whole piece at the bottom swage line and weld in place to form the bottom of the roof line.

Finally got the rear roof swage line in place and extended the car 205mm.

next job is to lock that piece in by welding in the curve of the first bodyline curve above the swage line.

I decided to push the car outside before I did any more welding just to make sure the proportions are looking right.

Its hard to tell when you’re working in a tandem garage.

I think I extended it the right amount and the rake on the roof line looks good.

Proportions are starting to take shape.

Bit more welding to do on these extension panels but coming together.

Looking forward to starting on the roof

Cars starting to look more like a coupe.

got the back portion of the roof tied in.

Need to start bringing the base in to meet with the rest of it.
