Finally got round to welding in the rear splash pan area.

That ties in the last bit of the boot area.

Im going to work on connecting the bottom of the b pillars to the front cowl area to lock that area in and it will give me a piece to eventually weld the floor to and make the bottom swage line under the doors that the ford Y doesn’t actually have.

Just thought I would post an update on the Ford Y coupe.

The car is going up for sale as I’ve got the opportunity to build up my very first car.

My first car was a MK 1 Zephyr with a 289 ford V8 and auto..tilt front.

This car was my daily driver from the age of 17 - 21 and had so many cool memories.

She’s off to a new home.

Bring on the MK 1 Zephyr.

Looks like this is coming home with me.

Parts car turned up today and the more I stripped it the worse it got.

I will be able to get all the bits I needed off it but am super stoked that this one is rock solid rust wise.
