Clutch fork, whats missing here?

This is out of the bosses capri, guessing there is ment to be a clip of some description to hold the bearing carrier to the fork but can't find for the life of me a pic online of this setup. Any ideas or old Ford boffins know what they are looking at? It's a early 70's Mk1 3.0l essex

Doesn't look like it should to me. 

It won't go far with an input shaft thru the middle, and a pressure plate up against it

Sweet as, just kept buzzing me out cause every other one I could find had some sort of retainer clip to hold it in place

Going back to the bottom of the memory hole, some of these cars used a rubber Oring to hold the release bearing in place while assembling. As @Mof said once it is together it can't go anywhere.
