OldNathan
Hey guys has anyone on here run into any issues doing this. I'm wanting to leave what vac pipes I have got off the throttle bodies to solely run the link ecu and fuel pressure reg. I've found cars like 01 VW passats etc run electric vac pumps to boost the brake master. Anybody run these of similar before?
jakesae101
don't know much about the electric pumps but you could look at a diesel alternator as they have vac pumps for this very purpose on themĀ

flyingbrick
I know Hella make a nice compact vacuum pump and its usually marketed at the hotrod guys. It's also factory on some Volvo models so I'd hit up someone wrecking one on TM. Edit. Be aware they had multiple pumps with some for cruise control (which ain't suitable) There is also a switch unit that the Volvo uses to pulse the pump on and off as required. Apparently it is NOT capable of running at 100% duty cycle so you need an auto switch of some kind.
