DoBro Jesus
Ok, so i bought some driving lights today for the lancer, the big round type not the square LED ones like most people have, and i was reading the wiring diagram and all seems easy enough apart from the switch, one wire goes to the relay which is all fine, and the other goes to the high beam switch. Do you have to wire them to the high beam switch or could i run the other wire to, say, the acc wire so they can be used when not on high beam and just whenever the ignition is on? AllTorque
You don't want them on all the time because they will be like high beams. You can wire them into a ACC with a separate switch for off road use but normally you would use a high beam feed then through a dash switch. DoBro Jesus
Yeah i thought that may be the case, ahhhh well high beams it is!
Geophy
I recently put spotlights on the Corolla and we had the wiring tapped into the high beams with a switch to allow just high beams or high beams and spotties. Thought I would end up putting an overide switch in but haven't felt the need to yet the only time you ever use the spotlights is when you have the high beams anyway.
