N3K
Hey guys, I have done a bit of digging around in terms of wheel spacers on these forums but I wanted to start my own thread just to clarify a few of my questions. I'm interested in some wheel spacers for the escort, just to beef it up a bit and give it a more staunchy appearance. Recommended or not? Major implications? Legality? Like I read they need to be certed unless approved by the manufacturer - how would you go about getting it approved by them haha, or would they have a list of acceptable spacers? If I could push them out an inch that'd make a huge difference. I checked TradeMe for some but found none at all. Mine is a 4 stud modgies. N3K
Sweet thanks for that. Any implications that would tell you not to put them on Yowzer?
spiderwebfx
Sweet thanks for that. Any implications that would tell you not to put them on Yowzer? I'd just double check the use of aluminium spacers with steel wheels. They generally don't go together too well. This may not matter, but just a thought. cletus
//oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/46520-wheel-adaptors-and-spacers/ they do need certification at 25mm id be checking that you dont exceed the allowable offset, and that you dont have to get all hellaflush stance style and mangle your guards to get them to fit without rubbing etc
