anglia4 Posted March 11, 2014 Share Posted March 11, 2014 We've got a 1.3l 1995 Mirage and the timing doesn't seem quite right. Its really sluggish and runs on when you turn the key off. Ranter Posted March 12, 2014 Share Posted March 12, 2014 Carb? 4*BTDC +/- 2 at idle is what my book says, usually just advance it until it knocks and back it off a bit. They are super sluggish especially autos, make sure thermostat is good and all water hoses are clear to the carb. Run 95 or better fuel. Its a manual but just feels like it should have a little bit more go than it does.
