SP450andLE
Trying to start the Dart, but I'm not having any luck. It's turning over ok, but there seems to be no spark. What I've done to turn it over is just run a lead between the positive on the battery to the negative on the starter solenoid. Is there something else that needs to be done for it to start? SP450andLE
Right, I'll try that. Thanks
SOHC
if the motor is turning over with the way you have described you have put the lead to the + on the starter, if it was the other way it would just spark
OSM Garage
Run another wire from the + on the battery to the + on the coil Had to do this on my Kingswood. Was a pain in the ass everytime I stopped. I had to pop the bonnet and remove the wire to shut the engine off.
