So if I was to get some standard Mini wheels widened, what d'you reckon would be the safest max width? I was thinking to go from the original 3.5" to 5.5" or maybe even 6". - Would 6 be too wide for a 165 though? (the mags on it atm are 5", and the tyre is almost balloon spec/sorta just neutral) I don't mind a bit of stretch btw... Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have a pair of 7s in the garage with 165/55s on them so its possible to go that wide. not saying you could get wof/cert with them however.
