KKtrips
Cold start is controlled by the computer on 5AFE I think... Did you run some good injector cleaner through it??
kseries.rookie
Ah shit, I knew I would forget something. I'll do that some stage this week and let you know the outcome. Thanks mate
KKtrips
Maybe even double the dose - it may well be that you have leaking injectors causing your problem..
kseries.rookie
Sweet as. Alright time for the noob question. In YOUR best opinion, whats the best/effective way to clean injectors? Thanks
KKtrips
The BEST way is to remove them and send to be ultrasonically cleaned.. I have had reasonable results from tipping a couple bottles of Wynns injector cleaner into the fuel tank (with not much more than 10-20L gas in it) and then running it through the engine. May pay to change your fuel filter at the same time though..
Yammies
Check your fuel rail pressures - cranking, pump running, and leak down pressures. If it's EFi it won't be auto choke... that's carb stuff..... Though most engines use the temp sensor as the trigger for cold start enrichment
