OSM Garage
Im trying to get my oil pressure gauge working in my sigma and seem to be having troubles. I have fitted a cluster from a Mitsubishi Sapporo which has a factory oil pressure gauge. I recently purchased this to operate the gauge - http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing ... =435368217 Ive connected the one single wire from the sender to the cluster. When I turn the key to "ON" the gauge rises to the stopper. With the engine running the gauge stays at max. Is the sender unit faulty or is there a chance that I could have screwed things up? Raizer
I would think that the sender is fucked or the sender wire is earthing out somewhere.
Llama
Gauge will probably measure 0-12v in line with 0-100(or whatever the max is)psi. Can you measure the voltage across the sender? If you are getting no drop with engine on then the sender is probably borked, else there might be a loose wire touching something hot or something. l1ttle_d3vil
Mine did that a couple of times, first time was when the sender wasn't earthed, second time was when the sender unit was stuffed.
