felixx
OK, Pretty girl rides with us to work each day. Her heater isn't working. There is hot water going in and out of the heater, but the heater itself is blowing cold air. Ideas?
Ranter
Where is the heater tap? If its under the bonnet you'll be able to check if its operating easily. No water loss or leaks? An air lock in the system could cause it, so could a blown head gasket. If all looks good you could try removing the hoses and reverse flushing the heater with the garden hose. governorsam
check linkages and cable clips on the side of the heater box. the hot/cold cable can jam up as well, usually after a broken window at some stage. glass jams up the flaps, force the lever across.... snap. did 4 yrs replacing car heaters for a job. felixx
It has just been serviced and now it doesnt go. I think it is an air lock issue I ran it for 10 min this morning, heater on full and radiator cap off.. nothing. Nice new fluid in radiator and overflow bottle empty (dry) so it must have sucked it all in to help fill air lock. I will have another peek tonight Glenn
