wickmyster
Anglia and escort diff widths, are they the same? Are they different widths and are the spring mounts on the diff the same distance apart? I am looking at a shortened B1600 for my escort, it was made for an anglia, but am keen for a new diff in my escort...can you get any good rations for a b1600? Are there any capri diff head that go into and Anglia housing?
Valiant
Anglia is narrower than Escort. Anglia is 1215mm drum face to drum face. Not sure about the diffheads, are they similar to RX somthing? Is the B1600 diff LSD?
wickmyster
Nah, it is locked atm, guess ill keep hunting for a baby atlas...found a 3.08 non LSD one...probably a bit tall ratio for a pinto 5 speed in 15s
Jase
3.6(rare),3.7,3.9,4.11,4.4,4.8 4.8 is the most common, courier diffs pretty similar with lsd commonly availible, massive 30 spline axles standard but reasonably bulky and heavy. if its a heavy engine with big torque it'd work fine otherwise it may be easier to get something in the pcd and width out of the same manufacturer
