BobbyBreeze Posted November 1, 2010 Share Posted November 1, 2010 I haven't and would love to, but as far as i'm aware its not worth doing unless you have properly modelled it on a program like Ricardo WAVE. (AFAIK F1 only went to stepped headers in the 90s). Because you get a reflection off each 'step' in the headers, and normally there are multiple steps/multiple rpms, the wave interaction (and maths) gets complicated, so its hard to know when you are getting the rarefraction waves back to the ports. Have you had a play around in EAP or the likes bunging in sizes/diameters of the different steps and see how it reacts to it?
