bubblegoose Posted October 18, 2010 Share Posted October 18, 2010 if you haven't taken it off yet set the engine to tdcc and look on the front face of the wheel/gear there should be a punch mark/line level with something like the top of the head maybe like this if not it should line up with something else obvious, if it doesn't defiantly get a haynes manual Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Valiant Posted October 18, 2010 Share Posted October 18, 2010 Turn the engine over until it is rocking on 4. The no4 exhaust valve is just closing and the no4 inlet is just opening. When you find it rock the crank back and forth you will see the middle of the two valves movement. That will be very close to TDC. Look for the mark.
