Knocks pretty bad and comes and goes from silent to explosions in my head like a typical noisy lifter. How do I locate which one it is? Can you pull them to bits and clean them? I presume it's because one is not getting oil to it. Do they wear out or get stuffed? The fact that it will be silent sometimes and then get real loud suggests that it's fixable.
