JasonK
Might seem a bit of a stupid question but am needing to get the shock inserts out of the ke70 to shorten them (will just turn them down in the old mans lathe) but they're gas filled (according to a label on them) so am not sure whats gunna happen when I pull them apart, am I gunna loose all the gas or what am I gunna find? any help will be much appreciated Jas
jakesae101
you will find that there a sealed insert just take them out of the strut tube and put them in the lathe
Simon
Yeah just undo the big nut on top of the strut housing and pull it out. The put in the lathe holding the shaft with something soft.
