Aha! A discussion thread!

I've found in the past when i've painted stuff that if i get a rough surface i can usually coloursand/polish it up pretty good. try rubbing down a bit between coats and then put a couple of steady clearcoats on the top and cut them back with fine grade sandpaper then buff out. Any good to you? This worked very well with the metalflake i put on my daily, its was very bumpy with the flakes so i put loads of clear on and cut it back to smooth - i even polished it by hand and it still came out good

Any word on your bits yet?
