fuel Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 I don't think such a beast exists? All FWD 4G64s (ie in E16A Galants, and some Sonatas) were EFI. Quote
abikenut29 Posted September 8, 2009 Author Posted September 8, 2009 Have found a couple in late model chariots,im surmising they are fwd, guess the jurys out on that one.. Quote
fuel Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 but they're EFI.. more specifically GDI, and they're twin cam and not a great deal similar to the earlier Sirius generation. Quote
Trigger Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 AARRGGHH, GDI! (stay away) SOHC '63, cant go wrong Quote
fuel Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 as I said earlier, best option would really be a SOHC 8V 4G64 2.4L from a 91-92 NZ-new L300 van - they are wideblock and will bolt right in place (using a 4WD petrol L300/Delica sump), would have the same advantages of a 4G63 SOHC but with more torque down low. They are EFI factory but you can simply put a 4G63 SOHC carb manifold on it. Quote
