grdwalker Posted June 17, 2009 Share Posted June 17, 2009 finally started on the project. if you know of any other websites or forums etc that have info on this particular build gimme a shout. as of know have cut out the exhaust and manifold (cut, as in: no bolts dammit, so grinder it is). disconnected most of the engine and am looking at more wires than connections on the new engine. ESKIN8R Posted June 21, 2009 Share Posted June 21, 2009 What sorta info where you after mate? You will need to modify the clutch and accelator cables. Lengthen the wiring to the alternator, you will also need a set of extractors to suite a 2lt in a escort, coby do a set. Use the standard escort mounts and modify the sump or get a austalian 2lt escort sump. I just got a full new exhaust setup made. What gearbox are you using?
