Does anyone know where I can get a starter motor reconditioned? It spins but the gear comes out real slow and I guess it doesent have enough oomph to engage as I can hear tyhe starter motor spinning but engine not turning over, but on the bench the gear come out ok but slowly.

In my opinion, CRC is good for soaking rusted nuts and that's it. Shit sticks to it and makes things worse again.

Kero is good for cleaning inertia starter motors, then put it back in dry. If it's getting gunked up then maybe you've got a leak in either the gearbox or rear crank seal.
