danger
How crucial is it to spot etch prime bare steel before you prime? just fine sanded the primer on my 7 and its gone through on a few patches. I dont like just brush priming it on it comes up quite shit. Reckon doing a few spots in just rust converter should do it? or any other decent products? Dont wanna spray can etch it as with the paint thin by the steel the thinners fuck with it a bit.

nobumps
If its just been sanded through on the edges or nothing bigger than say a old 50cent cent coin, dont worry about it just prime as normal.
Mr.Mk1
Normal primer will suffice as long as the steel is nice and clean, its only a fuckin old 7. Jokes
