Jammy-Fishpaste
i know its not OS but the car is a G100 Daihatsu charade GTti the problem: in certain situations when driving and ALWAYS when your turning right it will not rev and decellerated, as if its not firing. it coughs and splutters after this and wont rev properly but clears within a few seconds of straightening out. so far ive replaced - the battery, the coil and ignitor, the leads, the WHOLE distributor, the spark plugs. ive also cleaned the fuel filter, blown out the fuel lines and rail, replaced the fuel. the problem is it idles fine and revs fine when stationary and even drives fine accept when turning right and trying to accelerate when doing so. ive looked at the wiring around teh steering column and theres nothing up. mive checked all around the steering arms and cvs and anything to see if any wiring is getting caught in anything and its not, ive reterminated a whole fuckload of wires and that hasnt helped.. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME BEFORE I GET TOO ANGRY AND DO SOMETHING STUPID
UTERUS
Does it do it when you are stationary and you turn right? Try jacking up the right hand side as far as your jack will go and wiggle your wanger/wires/something else electrical or fuel related. Do a skid. Unclejake
Pull random wires to the left while at idle, including the coil and fuel pump and if nothing shows up consider fuel surge as a possibility too
Jammy-Fishpaste
no its only when moving, asthough the momentum is causing something to not work. :s skid done. lol

Unclejake
whats metric fuel?. It is UJ code for "Sorry, I am out of ideas as I don't know the particular engine well enough"
Jammy-Fishpaste
o well, cheers anyways. am off to change the fuel pressure reg adn see if that helps.
Unclejake
If , and only if, you can kill the ignition when the fault occours you could whip the plugs out to see if they are wet. Wet (with fuel) would = electrcial. it would be a bit hit and miss though
UTERUS
When it stops, does it splutter or cut out instantly? From experience spluttering = fuel, instant cut out = electrickery related.
Jammy-Fishpaste
all things point to it being fuel, might end up having to pull the fuel tank out and clean everything.
Unclejake
Start at the other end. Check the fuel filter first
UTERUS
How much petrol is in the tank? Where abouts is the pickup inside it.
Simon
Maybe those MOFuking kids next door had been putting bark and stones in the tank like your aw11. Put more petrol in the tank. Mothers car surges hard when the tank gets below half. Carb fuel tank on EFI car means no baffles in tank.
