cute wee gem
Got engine in last night, everything seems fine except it won't fire when the key is in the normal run position but will have spark when cranking it over on the "start" position on the key. Idea's so far are a dirty/corroded ignition switch. Is there a certain relay that has anything to do with this? Has me fucked anyway
QCADTA
Do you have power all the way through the positions on your ignition barrel? eg acc. , on position etc?
cute wee gem
Yep checked that earlier, got it sorted now, she runs
Unclejake
Yep checked that earlier, got it sorted now, she runs Choice. Ballast resistor wired up wrong?
lowlancer
Yep checked that earlier, got it sorted now, she runs Choice. Ballast resistor wired up wrong? Or the relay associated with it would have been my pick?
cute wee gem
yep, converted to electronic ignition and realized the ballast wire went all the way to no where/dizzy when it should just go straight to coil
lowlancer
Thought you didn't need ballast resistor on electronic ignition cos the coil can roll allsorts of voltage?
cute wee gem
Meh, problem's fixed and it works. wire running in won't reach to coil anyway and it's doing no harm with the ballast in there.
