Recessed bonnet pins Alloy door card Window washer bottle (will put the same alloy cover on the drivers side for the radiator catch tank so its all symmetrical.) Slam panel And my hero Nick aka MK1MAD sorting out my Mk2 loom With the bonnet stays i welded the nut behind a massive washer as bellow so that the locking nut is hidden Mounted strut brace and almost Finnish adding re enforcement to the bend on them. My name is Russell
New tow car New welder Battery lugs to be welded on once i get gas Just stripped some wire i purchased and noticed it was silver instead of copper/gold does this mean its likely to be speaker wire? Re fitted new kill switch to a more stable position, Cheers to UJ for the switch. Its a fancy FIA job that kills the ignition coil/alternator, any suggestions on how to wire it up welcomed Not sure if to keep the old one killing something else but what? Re ran the battery cable inside the sill which i was a bit worried about if the cable got pinched so now have an exterior kill switch also @ boot. Nick has got the body wiring 95% done just need to sort out the wind wipers now, Made a bracket under the dash for re location of fuse box as the old one was directly next to the exhaust manifold and was worried if they were popping about not being practical to check. extending all the wires to the correct length was a nights work. Mounting the window washer nozzles and running the pipes from the pump Polished the headlights chrome shrouds with auto soul and the indicator lenses with break cleaner which made them look better than new and painted a black edge around them as one was chrome the other not started setting up engine wiring Wow its late
My name is Russell
Made a bracket for the coils for a few reasons 1. So that standard leads can be used 2. to reduce interference by keeping the coils away from the CAS 3. reducing heat into the plenum like previously mounted. Unfortunately as i was tightening one of the lock nut screws to on the coils (the one with they arrow) the bolt started spinning is it still usable anyone know? or anyone know were to get a new pack one from? i think they might be evo ones from mega distant memory. Note mega bad tac's are the result no gas in welder
My name is Russell
Cheers to Munu for modifying my dump pipe amazing job! Keeping the CAS stuff clear of other wires to prevent interference. Anyone know what this wire does? seems to wind over fine without it doing anything so can poss leave it as is? additional earth? Army spec plug, works very nicely! My name is Russell
Doesnt look like much work but took a fair bit of template accuracy and careful folding to make sure the bottom was nicely enclosed along all edges and making the mounting points so that its east to fit and remove was key. Rivnuts for life yo heart that shit!
