cute wee gem
Anyone made their own bushes with Nolathane rod? Their site says it should be done on a lathe. I want to make some bushes for a gearbox mount but don't have a lathe, can you just use holesaws/drills/knifes etc to make them?
stagefumer11
high speed lathe, super sharp tools. And you need to frezze the nolathane before using it, otherwise it will rip apart. You could use a knife, but it wont look purdy

You could use a knife, but it wont look purdy That's what I thought, even if for a gbox mount. Might just be cheaper to buy some pre made ones as the mount needs to be made from scratch anyway. Will engineering places have bushes? They don't have to be nolathane mind you.
MZ ROLA
if you have your old ones you can just take them into autolign they make custom stuff, problem is they cant quote you without seeing the old one but they should also be able to sell you the bits and bobs you want to make your own ones..
