mutiny Posted July 21, 2007 Share Posted July 21, 2007 ive got a 81 dx wagon with a 18rgeu in it, was doing some o's the other night with fuck all gas, then the car just wouldnt run, sounded like wasnt getting enough gas, fuel pump didnt sound right. so i replaced the fuel pump yet the car still wont go, anyone got any ideas? Wild stab in the dark... running your tank low has got crap in the fuel pressure reg and it's not closing fully. When your pump sucks air the fuel pressure will bleed past the FPR down the return line . In the past once the pressure drops below 45 psi the FPR was closing fully held more fuel.
