UTERUS
So i have had this idea floating about in the back of my mind for a few years now..... I want to use single (40mm?) motorbike carbs on a 2 litre 6 cylinder motor, for no other reason than for shits n giggles. They will not be joined by a plenum, just filters on each carb for sifting out bugs and the like, what i really want is a colour tune spark plug but my chances of finding one are pretty slim. Has anyone had experience with multi carb setups and would be so kind as to shed some light on this dark art and to reccomend a good carb tuning and setup book. Thanks, Simon
CaMpylobacter
coloured plugs a good idea.... but yuh. vaccuum gauges to balance, and normal jetting procedures. late-ish gsxr600 carbs _alledgedly_ accept common weber jets. was web info though form the u.k search on a u.k forum. they chuck them on almost everything
Spencer
its been discussed on here a little now and then brad put up an excellent article on the Yamaha R1 carbs which seem pretty awesome, I'll try find it. Also going with newer bike carbs is recommended they stay in tune better

peteretep
I'm looking at putting some on my escort, so much cheaper than injection and after playing around with some bike motors they seem pretty easy to control
