mk5corty
Well i took my hp figures from wiki, The 2-valve DOHC 18R-G was produced from 1972 through 1974. Output was 110–145 hp (82–108 kW) at 6400 rpm and 131 ft·lbf (177 N·m) at 5200 rpm. It was also available in Japan-spec (The 1975 18R-GU) with 130 hp (97 kW) at 6000 rpm. The GR and GEU had more hp. J2Racing
Not sure it's still around but used to be a MK1 capri in CHCH with a 2T or 3T in it. My STD V6 used to piss all over it. Trouble is it look the same as mine. I was always getting hassled for his trouble making. What I'm trying to say is you may be better off staying with a factory motor and spending a little on it.
