cute wee gem
I ripped my dash out today and am going to redo it myself (the vinyl stuff), what I'm considering is changing the colour of the rest of the interior which will include door cards, seats and rear pocket card things and any other little bits Its an ugly light creamy/tan colour and I'm keen to go black and what I want to know is what paint should I use to keep that matte/semi glossed effect on your average old style dash? - preferably paint that will stay on the seats and not come off on clothes or by being rubbed etc
mikuni
You can get a vinal paint that works good. Just have a look at the usual outlets. My mate did it on roof lining, door cards and seats and it held up pretty well. I thought it would rub of the seats but it was fine.. and it was white too. Chrome_GT
Yeah the vynil spray is good. On other plastic parts you could also use plastic primer and then normal satin black paint. My door mirrors on the mini were black plastic. I then painted them with plastic primer and white paint. The paint hasn't scratched off or flaked at all.
