12a rotary help

filthy one

Recommended Posts

You want to probably look at one around 8-10 pounds (remember you still need to add the counterweight weight to the flywheel).

Buy a one piece steel one, with the ring gear cut into the flywheel, dont touch a modified original one, nor one that has the ring gear on standoffs.

get a steel one made dont even bother lightening the original 1. we've all seen many rotaries shattering their flywheels because of high rpm.

Thats because people go for a 4lb flywheel or leave bolts lose.

Alot blow because most people over rev them ie 14,000rpm, not many engines or components are going to stand revs that hi, you would even shit a standard flywheel with that amount of revs

But year 10lb up would be good!
