Guest vhpacer73
Would a 2 litre from a mk4 cortina bolt straight into a mk1 esky if you use the mounts and crossmember from the cortina?

esky boi
Should be the same as a MK2 so the answer is yep it will... The mounts line straight up, and it will bolt to the 1300/1600 gearbox no prob - will bolt straight up to a 5 spd Sierra box too, but fitting the 5 spd box to the car takes abit of work its worth it tho. But with the intake, exhaust dizzy and alternator (and a couple of other things - cant remember exactly what right now) being on the opposide sides to the X-flow it makes things a little interesting... It takes abit of work, but can be done. Ive just about finished doing the 2 litre, 5speed conversion to a mk2 right now, so I can give you a bit of info... Theres a few others on here that have also done it or are in the process of doing it so yea.....
